Everyone is aware now of “Mental”, an upcoming thriller-drama where Tisha is set to appear as a hard-hitting TV journalist, opposite Dhallywood star Shakib Khan. Also to star as Tisha's boss is S A Haque Olik, who is better known for his works in the director's chair rather than in front of the camera. Although he has acted in TV movies from time to time, this is his first appearance in a major commercial film, which will also mark Tisha's debut into the film industry.
While the usual boss-employee relationship is a rough one with frequent scolding and formal, sharp tongued tell offs to make sure the job is done properly, director Shamim Ahmed says the dynamic here is the opposite. Tisha and Olick's characters have a rather friendly understanding with frequent banter and comic relief.
The shooting for “Mental” has been completed and the editing work is on full swing while it awaits the censor board's approval before setting a release date.
