Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, one of the most sought after actresses of Dhallywood, is getting frequent offers from the Tollywood directors so much so that she’s been suggested to rent a flat in Kolkata and settle there.
An on demand Mim is currently staying in Kolkata for a month for the shooting of her upcoming film starring opposite Soham. She is super busy with the shoots, photo-shoots and interviews nowadays.
Mim said, “They are offering me several facilities seeing some of my projects. For instance a few days ago a director jokingly suggested me to move here. He said, ‘Why don’t you rent a flat and settle here like Joya?’ ”
She added that they had no idea about Mim’s popularity in Bangladesh and they were surprised to see her TVC-films and portfolios of other works
Mim however does not have such plans. “The way I think of the whole thing is that Tollywood industry itself has a whole lot of talented actresses among which many are not even getting the break. Then what’s the surety of my success here?”
“But I’m a huge fan of Joya Ahsan apu, I’ve always been. I’m eagerly looking forward to her upcoming flick ‘Rajkahini’. Joya apu is like my big sister, her work inspires me in so many ways.”
Mim thinks that Dhallywood has more talented actresses than Tollywood.
Bidya Sinha Mim first came to the spotlight through the Lux Channel i Superstar pageant. Ever since then, we have seen her in almost every visual medium and she has been a very successful actor, mostly specializing in TV Dramas.
The actress stepped into Dhallywood and she seems to be heading down the path of a legacy as a Bangladeshi actress. She has already proved her prowess on the silver screen with films like ‘Jonakil Alo’, ‘Tarkata’, ‘Amar Achhe Jol’ and ‘Amar Praner Priya’ and the latest ‘Padma Patar Jol’ for which she was applauded and received tremendous appreciation.
